Volunteer: Myers Park Garden HelperMyers Park Garden Helpers will assist with maintaining our outdoor spaces including the reading garden, raised beds, pollinator garden, and children's discovery garden. Volunteers will help with regular watering, weeding, planting, and other projects to improve the natural areas around the library. Volunteers should be able to lift heavy objects including hoses, watering cans, and other gardening materials. The majority of this work will be outside, so volunteers will work in diverse weather conditions. For safety purposes, volunteers should disclose any allergies (especially to food, pollen/plants, bees, etc.) Scheduling for this opportunity is flexible based on branch and volunteer needs. All ages may apply, though minors under the age of 18 should have parent or guardian permission to volunteer.
