Volunteer: Steele Creek Reading Buddies Fall 2026 and Spring 2027The Steele Creek Library is seeking dedicated volunteers to participate in our Reading Buddies Program during the 2026–2027 school year. Reading Buddies pairs volunteers with elementary-aged children to provide one-on-one reading practice in a fun, supportive, and encouraging environment. Volunteer Commitment Day: Every Tuesday Time: 5:00–6:00 p.m. Location: Steele Creek Library Program Semesters Fall: September 14, 2026 – December 20, 2026 Spring: January 25, 2027 – May 9, 2027 We ask that volunteers commit to attending each weekly session during both semesters to provide consistency for the children in the program. Thank you for helping young readers build confidence, strengthen their literacy skills, and develop a lifelong love of reading.
